 My latest purchase and I can't wait until it arrives!  I know it will be a while before the weather gets cooler here to be able to wear this out, but there's nothing wrong with planning ahead!

My latest purchase!  I think that they are CUTE!

What Had Happened Was...

Well...what had happened was...a couple of months ago, I decided to straighten my strands and to give myself a trim...and what started out as a trim, ended up being a three to four inch cut (got a little too scissor happy)!  I believe that I have made progress up to this date, but I couldn't remember if I had taken any pics of my cut during that time (seeing is believing in this case), so I decided to search through my images and I stumbled across these that I had taken during and after the cut and thankfully so.  I did this cut on April 10th. After the cut I curled my strands and absolutely fell in love with the feel of my freshly cut ends, but soon realized what a difference three inches can make!

Lately I've been wearing my hair in twists now pinned in place for the past couple of months, only wearing them down on special days (birthdays, get togethers, church, etc...). 

Will straighten again possibly in October.  It's all about retaining length now.

Outfit Of The Day! (OOTD)

Although it's spring, we are having a bit of cooler weather this week.  Yesterday's high was 52 degrees, which is not the norm for us this time of year, but knowing that the hotter days are just around the corner (and having experienced a few hot days last week), we'll enjoy every bit of the cooler weather we can get!

On our way downtown to see a movie, I decided to snap my boo's outfit of the day (OOTD).
