DH and I love to go on lunch dates and on this date we dined at Bonnie Ruth's located within the Shop's at Starwood. A friend of mine treated me to lunch here a while back and I absolutely loved both the atmosphere and the food. I returned with my favorite lunch buddy to introduce him to my new find!
I ordered the Pear and Goat Cheese salad that is made up of Beaujolais poached pears, goat cheese, pecans, baby greens, and lavender honey vinaigrette. I absolutely loved eating this salad and have since learned how to make one similar to it at home. I'll share the recipe in a later post!
My Boo ordered the Prime Rib with Béarnaise, which is Carved Prime Rib with béarnaise sauce served open face. Such a manly meal!
And now for the dessert! We shared a big slice of Red Velvet Cake that the restaurant makes fresh daily. OMG, it was truly heavenly to eat! Sorry, I took a bite BEFORE taking a picture. This dessert is just one of their many house-made desserts that they so beautifully display within their patisserie.
I guess it's okay to eat a slice of cake since I only had a salad for lunch? Hee Hee! :0)
